It's fun to build stuff and satisfying when the result turns out to be useful. This page is for stuff I enjoyed building and might be useful. I mostly develop using Python, MySQL, ECMAScript/CSS/HTML, XML/XSLT. Sometimes, I also work with C and x86 assembly.
From time to time, I will post some thoughts here, but I try to stay away from highly opinion-based topics. Any opinions are merely my personal preferences. For example, I have a strong preference for simple pieces of software that do a specific task rather than sprawling projects that probably do everything you could ever want if you could only find the documentation. I also have a strong preference for building things from scratch based on a context-dependent definition of "from scratch".
From time to time, I will post tutorials on topics which I feel lack approachable introductory material.
